This week the Calgary Phil virtual concert series features the triumphant and engaging Brass Sextet in E-flat Minor by Oskar Böhme paired with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir de Florence, a lively, Romantic-era piece for strings written during the Russian composer’s time in Florence, Italy.
